The glossary
Coupon

An annual interest rate on a bond, paid in relation to the bond’s face value and until the bond matures to the investor.

Anecdote

A zero-coupon bond does exist. It refers to a bond that does not pay any coupon but whose trading price is much lower than what it should and that increases towards the face value as it approaches maturity.
