Foreign exchange rate

The rate at which two currencies are exchanged.

Anecdote

The foreign exchange rate can fluctuate a lot. For example, as of 31.12.2021, a Euro was approximately worth 1.03 Swiss Francs. In 1999, when the euro was launched it was worth approx 1.60 Swiss Francs.
