Bull market

A bull market is one in which the prices of assets are rising or expected to rise. A bull market usually occurs when the economic environment is flourishing. The opposite of a bull market is a bear market.

Anecdote

The bull market that started in 2009, right after the financial crisis is one of the longest bull markets in history.
